大理古城梦兮客栈

拥有美妙的景色,干净的客房,优质的服务,便宜的房价以及非常友善的管理人员,如果我再来大理,我还会再来这里。店主Max和Traci非常友善,乐于助人。网络很好。景色非常壮观,去老城很方便。当然,这家客栈也是在老城里的!

我和丈夫以及一位好友从我们在大连的家出发去云南旅行。之前就听人说这里很棒,结果也没令我们失望。房东Max和Tracey来自英语国家,他们热情地接待了我们,耐心地回答我们的提问,还给予了我们许多关于景点、小吃及当地文化的好建议。虽然可以选择大理的其他地方,但我们总喜欢在这里吃早餐。这儿的食物味道超棒价位也合理。房间舒适又整洁。我们选择了屋顶的房间,很享受这里新鲜的空气、美景和通过房间观赏到的当地生活。我们在这儿的四晚过得可真快啊!

What a wonderful place. The owners and staff are extremely helpful. The room was absolutely beautiful and we were very happy with our roof terrace. Great place to enjoy the last drink of the day. Breakfast was very good. Cold drinks are always available and very reasonably priced. The Sleepyfish is located on a quiet spot just outside the more crowded pedestrian area. It's about 5 min. walk into the shopping/restaurant area. The rent great quality bikes and it's so much fun just to cycle around. We only stayed 2 days, which was a bit short. They provide nice service to and from the airport. Very convenient as the airport is quite far outside the city. We really had a wonderful stay here.

When I arrived in the Ancient City of Dali, I had not booked accommodation so asked a young couple where to stay while walking down the street. They recommended the SLEEPYFISH LODGE and told me how to get there (northeast part of the ancient city). It was spot-on and ideally met my needs: clean, comfortable, well-priced and quiet (except when the German Shephard next door decided to bark!) It is was a pleasant surprise to learn that the lodge is operated by a British woman, Maxine (an architect by profession) who knows good customer service. The chef at the SLEEPLYFISH LODGE prepares tasty meals. Staff -- foreign and Chinese -- are attentive and helpful. In China most mattresses are hard -- VERY hard. Not so at the SLEEPLYFISH LODGE. The mattress on my bed was one of the most comfortable I've experienced in my nine years in China. I understand all the rooms have the same kind of mattress. As an added bonus, two quiet and well-behaved Golden Retrievers add a homey touch. Likewise, a wood stove on the main floor, surrounded by cozy sofas and friendly staff and customers, made my visit to the SLEEPYFISH LODGE a memorable one. Sleepyfish Lodge was booked for me by friends in Dali who knew that I would not be disappointed. They were right. I arrived very tired, stayed for five days and six nights and enjoyed every moment. It is a real "no pressure" place to stay, very undemanding for guests. My room was spotlessly clean, kettle and tea bags also supplied. Good lighting, inc. a bedside lamp. The shower was excellent and towels were supplied. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and as a dog lover I really enjoyed the labs :-). I only had a couple of meals there but both were good. Sleepy Fish is very reasonably priced and definitely a place to recommend and go back to should opportunity arise!
