The Mahayana has kept up with its Buddhist theme in every way. They had Meditation robes, buddhist sandals etc in the room. Our favorite was the whole herbal tea making set. There were so many stirrers and all we didn't know they were supposed to be used for. It was the typical authentic Chinese way of making tea!! They also had this whole painting thing going on. They had rice(I think) paper, some black paint, some brushes etc. You are supposed to paint some Chinese characters. The bathroom had lavender salts to soak in after a long day. The mattress wasn't soft enough. The hotel only has 2 floors and is in a secluded spot on the top of a mountain with no exceptional view to boast of. But to get up to the huge beautiful Budhha statue was again in keeping with the Budhhist theme of the hotel, I guess. And we didn't mind it at all. The staff at the reception was EXCEPTIONALLY nice, well behaved and very very helpful. They knew manageable English. They actually went out of their way to help us around because we didn't know Mandarin. The only tiny blip was not in the hotel but the whole OCT property was the getting around the property. They have a bus(909) which takes you around and comes at regular intervals(not empty though if its during holiday season) but they charge 10 RMB per person everytime you want to go somewhere which was all the time for us because we were in a secluded spot. for just 2 people you would end up spending somewhere under 100 RMB per day!! I think thats very wrong because we've been to resorts like these before and if they have a huge property it is their duty to get us around it, for free!!! All in all it was a wonderful experience.

价格有点贵，酒店的卫生搞得倒是蛮干净的，一般我住酒店比较注重的洗手间还有浴室，柜子最好要整齐一点，它们在这些方面都达到了我的要求。这里的服务人员的服务也很好，服务人员会帮忙给我买华侨城的票，而且在这里卖还有折扣。酒店所在的位置也很好，旁边会有大梅沙，海洋公园和华侨城，走不多远还有小梅沙。

跟旅游团还行，就是这里的价格有点贵，它房间的设计跟欧美很相似，空间倒不是很大，设施也一般般，但是比较的安静，因为东部华侨城比较的偏僻，所以这边的交通有点不太方便。酒店的服务也一般，我都找不到人。不过这里的隔音效果比一般的酒店都好，餐厅也还可以，口味都还不错，样式也算齐全，其实我在这里的回忆挺好的，主要是他们的酒吧挺好的，有很多外国人来演唱，也不是很闹，就是挺舒服的感觉。

酒店给我留下的印象是比较梦幻，是那种欧式风格的装修，给我的感觉是比较浪漫的。客房的装修布局也是欧式风格，而且西欧那个窗外望去的话可以看见一个茵特拉根的一个小镇，看起来还是蛮舒服的，而且他们的配套设施也是很齐全因有尽有。服务人员的办事效率和卫生做的都是很周到的。

在寺庙上，是以佛教文化为主题的酒店，因为它依靠着一个寺庙，然后酒店一打开窗户，就可以望到四面，大佛，金佛，这个金佛呢是华侨城的一个地标性的建筑物，然后在山顶上面，酒店就围绕着佛来建造的，周边就是寺庙，还有一些吃斋的餐厅，整个环境特别独特。房间的设施很好，包括洗浴用品什么的，都是品牌比较好的那种。里面的服务员也都是穿着佛家的那种衣服，它的整个大堂装修很有佛家的感觉，还有那种檀香啊什么的，有一些艺术品的雕塑。
